I remember laughing at your jokes.
Remember your brilliant smile.

One single date,
Awkward, fun, and full of memories.
But most of all the pure joy.
The hope and the thoughts,
The first time I ever thought,
I might love someone.

Slowly everyday my hope builds,
Then you shove it down again.
The building never stops
just getting slowed down.

For the First Time

Sometimes you fall in love and sometimes you soar instead. It's all a matter of figuring out your thoughts and your heart. I'm not sure I will ever know for sure if I'm falling for him or just soaring in the moment. Till I do know my confusing teen life will be here for all to read.
